Many times families find a breeder they havbe spoken with and developed a good working relationship, built on trust and respect, and many times that breeder will have a puppy both them and the buyer thinks will be a great match for the family, but the breeder may be located hundreds of miles away. We just want you to know this is not a dealbreaker, and a very common issue. If families located on either coast or as far south as Florida limit themselves only to puppies or breeders in their state, they limit themselves to only one percent of breeders. Eighty percent of dog breeders are found in the Midwest, while eighty percent of the population is located an hour or two from an ocean.
